Well, after the merge, the lua changes can be no longer easily
identified.  I guess they are 7 commits authored on Feb 1, 2012.

I would suggest people working on github (or somewhere else) to keep
their master in sync with the upstream master and work on branches, so
branches can be compared with the master, like this:

Probably we should add some git-specific notes in HACKING.
