failure of exporting *.ps to pdf in Gsview 3.6 (win NT)

Hi there,

I have a problem converting a .ps document to .pdf with gs6.5/gsview 3.6
when invoking ps2pdf, i do get a pdf file, but all the fonts are
converted to bitmaps and thus look very ugly (both on the screen and
when i print the pdf file) when i try to convert the file with pdfwrite
(within the file/convert menu) i always get an error after 60% have
been finished (no matter how many pages i want to convert)
the error message is something like "command 0x10034ed3 points to
memory in 0x00fae054, read could not been carried out in the memory"

the output in the gsview pring window looks like this:

is there some workaround for this ??
