Is it possible to convert jpeg to pcl files?

I've just found ghostview, and I don't have a lot of time to scan the
documentation.  I would appreciate any help.

I have a need to take JPEG files and convert them to PCL (to print on a
laser jet).  The application is running on SCO Openserver, and so I would
need an executable for SCO.

The perfect solution would be if I could call a command line converter and
shoot the result to a printer.

Ex:  ghostview -jpeg2pcl file.jpg | lp -dlaser

Is there something available that would accomplish this?

thanks - I'm a bit overwhelmed by the amount of material I'm finding on
ghostscript.  (I wonder if there is a ghostscript fo dummies book)
