All,
Objective: On the command line on Printer Port (RedMon)
As follows ......
Redirect This Port to Program: c:\gs\gs6.50\bin\gswin32c.exe
Arguements for this program are
@Q:\minvupdf\pdfwrite.rsp @:\minvupdf\pdffile.rsp -c save pop -f -
where q: is a mapped network -
pdfwrite.rsp to create a PDF file ...
and pdffile.rsp has the required external filename eg
-sOutputFile#"Q:\Reports\Daily\20010323-Daily_Coal_Summary_SA.pdf"
(that filename was deposited into this file just before the print to the
'printer' (on RPT1:) ie. dynamic output filename [Is there a better way??]
Just will not work .... unless Q: is a local drive (on the server say on
C: )
Then even when using C: for the arguements - it still fails unless the
target output filename is on a local drive as well ie.
-sOutputFile#"C:\Reports\Daily\20010323-Daily_Coal_Summary_SA.pdf"
I really need to get the EPS --> PDF working using Network Drives ... can
anybody help please....
Regards
JackD
