Dear Friend,

Welcome to Part 4 of "5 Simple Steps to
an Internet Cashflow...for Newbies!"

We're getting close!

In part 3 of this course your task was
to sign up for a reliable autoresponder
service. So as long as that's taken
care of, you're ready to personalize
and "plug in" your multi-part email course!

Let's start with personalization.

This is a snap!

Your autoresponder service provides
you with a "tag" or pc. of code that
you want to insert into the subject
line and body of your messages.

So first, login to your autoresponder
account and find the "firstname"
name code. Insert this code into
the subject line, and body of each
part of your course (use this course
as an example of where you might
want your subscriber names to appear).

Once that's finished, double check
everything - your entire course. Make
sure everything is spelled correctly,
and formatted correctly.

And finally, you're ready to simply
copy and paste the completed parts
of your course into the "message
manager" area of your autoresponder
account.

Assuming that you've been working on
your course in a text editor such
as Microsoft Word or WordPad, simply
click and drag your mouse to highlight
the message or section of text that
you'd like to transfer into your
message manager. RIGHT click on the
highlighted text and select "Copy".
Place your cursor in your message
manager (message box), right click,
select "Paste" and you're ready for
the next message!

Don't forget the subject lines! ;-)

As you're entering your subject lines
and messages into your message manager,
you'll need to determine the intervals
at which each of your messages will
be received by your subscribers.

In general, you'll want to set your
intervals at 1 day...So for instance,
if you've prepared a 5 part autoresponder
course, it would cover a span of 5 days.

Tip: I normally like to create an additional
"follow up message" in conjunction
with the courses I offer. I usually
set this message to arrive (by
autoresponder) a few days after the
last part of the course is received.

...My follow up messages typically contain a
congratulatory note for completing my course,
and they include one last plug for my featured
affiliate program. (It's also a good idea
to mention information about future mailings
at this point.)

Tomorrow, stay tuned for the FINAL Part 5 of
"5 Simple Steps to an Internet Cashflow...for
Newbies!"
