The following script generates a postscript file (CRbug.ps), which
looks fine viewed with gv. However, the pdf file (CRbug.pdf)
created by ps2pdf has serious font spacing problems under 7.07.
#!/bin/sh
cat <<-! | groff >CRbug.ps
.ps 11
.sp 2i
.ft CR
This is line one.
This is more on line one.
.br
This is line two.
.br
.bd CR 3
This is emboldened text.
And more of it.
!
ps2pdf CRbug.ps CRbug.pdf
There's no problem when run with ghostscript 7.05 or earlier.
Other fonts (e.g. ".ft H" anyway) work OK.
Running Fedora 3 with rpms:
ghostscript-fonts-5.50-13
ghostscript-7.07-33
Suggestions?
