Consider RSS as a communication channel that can provide current, targeted information as it appears within a very targeted audience. Perfect for techie types who have an interest in new technology! You have finally made the decision that you have to have one.
What more could you ask for?

I should have referenced the other articles to provide a clearer picture of the benefits to RSS. This allows the contents of the RSS feed being displayed to remain current, while expediting the whole process. So, this means that any material contained in a feed is available for syndication, right? For those who want to dig into the nuts and bolts of RSS, you can use the Download Feed feature to download an existing feed file and examine the pieces.
In addition the costs involved in creating and managing an RSS feed are insignificant when compared to the print advertising Realtors spend on each week.
Current scripts contained in the directory include RSS Cache, FutureRSS, and RSSmesh.

Additional scripts will be added to the directory in the future.
The two obvious contenders that publishers are considering to profit from their RSS feeds are: subscription RSS feeds and RSS feed advertisements.
In order to ease the burden of producing consistent stream of fresh content, publishers are turning to users to build, categorize and qualify content. All of the scripts dynamically manipulate the RSS feeds, so all management occurs in realtime. Unfortunately, they will soon find out that many RSS readers and aggregators don't honor future PubDates, and immediately show all their feed's items.

I focussed on secondary revenue sources and neglected to highlight the primary and most important revenue source from RSS, direct sales!
The scripts directory access includes RSSmesh and a handful of other valuable RSS related scripts.

The FutureRSS script enables webmasters to prepare content for their RSS feeds in advance, and have it automatically appear at the desired date and time.
us, but for its unusual approach to content building that is becoming increasingly popular.
because that would be too long.
All of the scripts dynamically manipulate the RSS feeds, so all management occurs in realtime. Imagine the amount spent each week to promote various properties in circulars and weekly newspapers, compared to the costs associated with updating and managing an RSS feed. The idea is to make RSS optionally a bi-directional communication medium. is pleased to announce a new RSS Scripts Directory.
I reported a bug, and received a bug fix within hours!
