Hi,
I have the following issue when link an application (Nastran 2001). It's
compiled by Intel Fortran copmiler efc and C compiler ecc and linked by ld.
The "-relax" option for ld doesn't solve the issue.
Nastran 2001 fails to link on an IA64 Red Hat 7.2 system (glibc 2.2.4-24)
with the following error -
/usr/lib/libc.a (dl-fptr.o): In function make_fdesc
/usr/src/build/85132-ia64/BUILD/glibc-2.2.4/elf/../sysdeps/ia64/dl-fptr.c:13
0: relocation truncated to fit: GPREL22 text
I am using build 20020714 l_fc_pu_6.0.163 and I_cc_pu_6.0.163.
Could you please comment on the issue? Thanks.
