glibc/gcc question |

I have a question about the installion of glibc-2.3.
I am running gcc-2.95.2 and when i went to install glibc it said that i
needed gcc-3.2. If i understand this correctly, in order to install
everything, i will have to install gcc-3.2 with my current library, then
install glibc-2.3, and then reinstall gcc-3.2 with the new library. Is this
correct?
If it is, i am then having a problem with gcc-3.2's installation. When i
run 'make bootstrap' i get the following messages:
gcc -DIN_GCC -g -W -Wall -Wwrite-strings -Wstrict-prototypes
-Wmissing-prototypes -Wtraditional -pedantic -Wno-long-long -DHAVE_CONFIG_H

Any advice you could offer me would be greatly appreciated.
