There is a new version of the Ukrainian locale (uk_UA) submitted to
glibc bugzilla. Have a look at
<URL:http://sources.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=58> and
discuss with the author of this new locale if your issue isn't fixed
there.
