Seg Fault on solaris 2.8

Hi,

Sometimes, global make core on my (large) project.
The SegFault is produced when calling isabspath function with NULL
pointer.
The calling stack is main->parsefile->isabspath .

Perhaps there something wrong in G* base (it would be surprising because
it's my firts tries of the global tools), but it would be great to check
the NULL pointer before using the path.

The global version is 4.0.1.
Solaris is 2.8.
C compiler is workshop 6.
