Yes, SDL does. What you do is point $ESPEAKER at the server. Unfortunately, 
though, the SDL support for ESD isn't very good - the sound flickers at a 
rather rapid rate (probably due to buffers which are too small). libao does a 
much better job. Does Gnash support libao as an alternative?
