Hi!
I'm sending you this email because I need your help! I am currently looking
for experienced Programmers and Analysts with IDX and/or MUMPS experience
for permanent positions in San Diego, California. What I'd like to know is
if you or one of your colleagues would be interested in these opportunities.
Here's what we need to do ... If you are interested in (AND QUALIFIED FOR)

These are permanent positions with benefits that pay $60-80K depending on
position and experience. 

SR. SYSTEMS ANALYST 
Our client is in need of a Senior Systems Analyst to support a variety of
IDX modules including patient accounting, admitting, medical records, home
health, & EDI. This Senior Systems Analyst position will be required to
solve/troubleshoot daily production issues, manage the technical aspects of
the applications supported, maintain existing software, design, develop &
test new software solutions (ie reports, interfaces, transfer programs,
etc). This position will complete their workload based on project/task
specifications &/or maintenance specifications, either produced by systems
analysts or programmer analysts w/in the IS Department. Some project
management will also be required. Ability to manage personal workload &
prioritize work, & excellent communication & documentation skills. 
Required Skills: 
You have programmed using the MUMPS language & have worked in healthcare
before. You enjoy the learning process, embrace change & new situations. You
are professional, mature, creative & enjoy working w/people. 
A college graduate from a 2 or 4-yr degree program in business or
information systems; you are committed to furthering your career in
Information Systems. You've completed study in a number of the following
areas: Structured Programming, Analysis & Design, Decision Support Systems,
Database Management Concepts, Statistics, Intermediate to Advanced
Programming, Finance, or Healthcare Administration. 
Required Technologies: 
3 yrs MUMPS Programming Exp; 6 yrs Programming Exp (maintenance of code &
development of new programs/applications); 3 yrs previous experience in a
Healthcare Environment 
Preferred Skills/Experience: 
IDX HPA/ADT/MR Application experience 
EDI & Data Integration/Transfer programming experience 
Minimum Education Requirement: 
Computing related associate degree

Preferred Skills: IDX HPA/ADT/MR Application experience; EDI & Data
Integration/Transfer programming experience. 
Minimum Education Requirement: 
Computing related associate degree 

SYSTEMS ANALYST 
This team needs a Systems Analyst to support a variety of IDX system modules
including medical records (chart tracking, chart completion, correspondence
log, encoder) & 3M health data management systems (coding, abstracting,
report generation). This Systems Analyst position will be required to
solve/troubleshoot daily production issues, & coordinate the technical
aspects of the applications supported, as well as implement, develop & test
new software solutions (ie reports, interfaces, transfer programs, etc.) &
upgrades, for the existing integrated systems environment. 
This position will require the ability to develop project related
deliverables/documentation, analyze & execute technical business solutions,
& provide technical documentation & specifications for project team members.
The ability to manage personal workload & prioritize work is required.
Excellent communication & documentation skills are required. 
Required Skills/Experience: 
5 yrs in a Health System Environment, involving functional areas related to
Medical Records, Coding, Abstracting, & Report Generation responsibilities
in conjunction w/systems analysis &/or data processing activities. Min 1 yr
of Progressive Functional & Business Systems Analysis exp (systems support,
vendor management, & project implementation) Project Participation exp; 
Preferred Skills/Experience: 
Project Management exp; IDX Medical Records & Encoder Application exp; 3M
Coding, Abstracting, Report Generation exp; Internal & External Data
Integration/Transfer Knowledge &/or exp; National Certification in Medical
Records; Familiar w/MUMPS/DCL/VMS Programming Code or Concept
