some ideas

Hi guys,

While Gnats-4 provides a really big step in convenience and freedom,
I soon got ideas for improving it even more :-) :

 - I'd like to have 'default' values for single line text fields.
   (At one point I felt I really needed them - because they were
   not available, I decided to use 'enumerated-in-file' instead of
   'text' ...)

 - If I add new fields named "Operating-System" and "Customer-Address",
   the nice alignment in the report-files gets distorted, as in:

   It's not really important (the field names could be abbreviated),
   but I got an idea: It would be nice to have something like
   "min-field-length" in 'dbconfig' which then could be changed from
   the default (now 13) to something other (I would set it to 16 here)

I understand that these are not bugs but merely change-requests or
even new-feature-requests - but of all provided categories, "bug"
might fit best... Sorry if bothering you...
