As is your choice. The FSF, however, works toward freedom and a
project sponsored by them and done under their auspices should also
value freedom.

One should always try to be aware of by whom their products are made
and attempt to not use those produced is unsavory manors (perhaps in
sweat-shops).

You're right that some people are not concerned with freedom.
