Suggest you check with Bob Hyatt at address@hidden.

He's the authority on parallel code in computer chess.

Subject: is anyone working on a distributed chess program??

Hello GNU chess developers!!

Do you know of anyone who is using GNU chess to create a distributed chess
program? (in other words, having a server which gives clients part of a
search tree to evaluate and each client returns to the server the best move
it has evaluated? Then the server would move a piece on the info it receives
from the clients)

Or does anyone know of a distributed chess program (may or may not
necessarily be related to GNU chess)?

Thanks,

Billy Earney
