Subject: [Bug-gnu-emacs] cperl-mode makes auto-fill-mode docu disappear
Date: Fri, 15 Sep 2000 13:22:53 +0200 (METDST)

This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
 not to your local site managers!!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

In GNU Emacs 20.4.1 (hppa2.0-hp-hpux10.20, Motif)
 of Wed Jan 12 2000 on nbghs10
configured using `configure  --with-gcc
--prefix=/vol/freeware/HP-UX-B.10.20/emacs/20.4
--sharedstatedir=/vol/freeware/HP-UX-B.10.20/emacs/20.4/share
--with-x-toolkit=motif --x-includes=/usr/include/X11R6
--x-libraries=/usr/lib/X11R6 --with-pop'

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

1. start emacs -q
2. load-library cperl-mode
3. C-hf auto-fill-mode -> shows auto-fill-mode help
4. C-xC-f x.pl (load any perl file)
5. M-x cperl-mode (switch to cperl-mode)
6. and now again C-hf auto-fill-mode -> results in:

auto-fill-mode is an interactive compiled Lisp function in `simple'.
(auto-fill-mode &optional ARG)
