You need to write your own version of the function.

Yes, there is: /tmp is frequently full of temporary files (which are
purged on a regular basis), which makes its filesystem quite full.

OS-independent specification is part of the next release.

I was talking about spam sent to your private address.  Spam you get
from public forums in unaffected by whether or not you use a correct
