Here's a good one:

C-x b runs the command switch-to-buffer
   which is an interactive built-in function.

Select buffer BUFFER in the current window.
BUFFER may be a buffer or a buffer name.
Optional second arg NORECORD non-nil means
do not put this buffer at the front of the list of recently selected ones.

No mention is made that BUFFER is indeed optional at least when
hitting C-x b RET, however it is not optional when doing
(switch-to-buffer) ... anyway, this is probably a 2-level spot where
the documentation needs to be [um, how does a vegetarian say] beefed up.
