I know.  This wasn't directed at you directly.

Two Postscript files, one for A4, one for Letter, both using a
3-column setup.  I wouldn't bother with PostScript files for two- or
one-column setup, as people who are picky enough to worry about the at
best only marginally better quality of the output would probably also
have TeX at hand, while people who would never know the difference
might not...
