regarding creating tags |

iam trying to create a tag file for my directory and the the command i gave
is
>> ctags -R ./jags
where ./jags is my directory for which i have to have tags.
but the output i got is
ctags: skipping /nfs/build3/usr/jags/jbabu-fdbmfc1/: it is not a regular
file.
so how to create a tags for my directory
