Hi

Maybe this has been mentioned before, maybe not. I'm not subscribed to the
list, and as I don't know of any archive, I cannot check it.

I'm using the bèta version of emacs 21, compiled by Takuo KITAME, and
available at people.debian.org/~kitame/emacs21 (according to the startup
screen, this is version 21.0.103.2).

First of all: It's great. I love the fact that global-font-lock-mode now
works under console too. The improvements when running under X are
marvelous.

However, I do have a few problems with two particular keybindings: the
first one is <end>; this changed from being binded to end-of-buffer by
default to end-of-line, while C-<end> is supposed to be binded to
end-of-buffer. I support this; since almost other available editors behave
this way, emacs will be more "sane" when behaving this way. Unfortunately,
C-<end> does not work, rendering the user with two ways to invoke
end-of-line...

The other problem is F10. This should create a buffer "*Menu*" with the
contents of the menu in it, but it doesn't; instead, an error is produced
in the minibuffer:

Buffer is read-only: #<buffer *Completions*>

Making it hard to use the menu when running emacs in a text-mode screen
;-)
