Hmmm, the buffer list reports file sizes according to that language,
e.g., 1 Chinese character is counted as "1", whereas in dired of
course we see it counted as 2 ASCIIs ...
Maybe an advanced buffer list could list both when different: "1(2)"
so that we don't get scared that our file has somehow been altered
between emacs and the disk.
