Perhaps someone could/has wrote a program to tally emacs key
stroke/commands as the user uses emacs. Maybe every 6 months one
could submit these to EmacsCentral for analysis. Perhaps it would be
noticed that there are some great commands that don't seem to get used
and therefore need more advertising, etc. etc. Maybe other trends
like people using C-k and not trying the smarter kill commands would
be seen, etc.
Indeed, how I got my Unix smarts back in '87 was by analyzing lastcomm(1)
dumps to see what commands my friend was using and therefore I ought
to know about.
