Please accept my profuse, grovelling apologies if this is
already a known problem, or my bug report is lacking or
inappropriate in any way.
There's no need to apologize for reporting a bug that we know about.
The really bad thing some users do is FAIL to report a bug that we
DON'T know about. If you report every bug you encounter, you will
never be guilty of that horrible omission.
The best way to make sure your bug reports are never missing important
information is to reread the Bugs section of the Emacs manual, if you
have not read it recently.
And thanks for this bug report. I will look at it in a couple
of days if nobody else does.
