In the Fourteenth edition of the `GNU Emacs Manual',
updated for Emacs version 21.1.

You describe no way to add properties using the keyboard!
You promise one way with the keyboard and one with the mouse
but deliver two ways that both require the mouse.  For shame!

I have many other comments about this new release
but this particular one is so bad I could not wait.

Thank you very much, by the way, for face support on character consoles,
99% of my emacs usage is via SSH with a VT100 emulation so I never saw
colors, bold, underline, etc. before.

PS: Here's the fix...
C-h a m e n u RET reveals 65 items of which the 64th is tmm-menubar
which is bound to M-` and F10, which needs mention below.  Thus:
