I've seen behaviour in which redisplay calls `args_out_of_range' from
`validate_interval_range'. (Obviously that's a bug, but I currently
don't have a test case.)
What happens is that it just keeps repeating the error report, and
your session is hosed unless you happen to have a second frame open,
for instance, and can close it to stop redisplay of the problem
window.
Shouldn't such errors in redisplay at least try to bury the buffer
concerned and, preferably, produce an explanatory message?
