Right, sorry.  I wasn't precise enough.  I was only checking what
command-describe-key says, which wasn't really low-level enough.

However, it sounds like Eli has adequately addressed this as being the
desired upstream behavior.  Note that I wasn't claiming that I thought
it was a bug, just that someone else had reported it as one, and I
didn't know what you'd think upstream either way :>
