Sorry, I'm not sure I udnerstand what you suggest, especially the
``put them all together'' part.  Do you meant we should bind, e.g.,
C-<home> to _all_ of the possible sequences?

That's what I was afraid of.  It's probably somewhere in the system
configuration files.
