Please always use "M-x report-emacs-bug RET" to report bugs.  That
command will include automatically some of the details about your
setup which are very important for debugging problems.  Those details
are especially important when the bug has to do with non-ASCII
characters.

In addition, please always try to present an exact recipe for
reproducing the problem, starting with "emacs -q --no-site-file".
That means, you should include all the commands one needs to type
after invoking "emacs -q --no-site-file", such as loading the
necessary optional packages, typing any input, etc.

Both of these two aspects are missing in your report.  Please provide
them.

PS.  Since html-helper-mode isn't part of the Emacs distribution, it's
quite possible that it wasn't updated to be compatible with Emacs 21,
or has some newer version which is compatible.  In that case, you
should look for a newer version, and if you don't find one, report the
problems to html-helper-mode's maintainer(s).  Byte-compiling
html-helper-mode with the new Emacs might also help to solve some of
the problems.
