suggestion: menu bar and icon bar side by side

This is not a bug, it is a suggestion.

When enabling both the menu bar and the icon bar and you use a big
window, you end up e.g. with :

 File Edit ....   Help ///////////////////////////////////////
 ICON1 ICON2 ICON3 ///////////////////////////////////////////

where ///// indicates unused (wasted) screen space.

If this is easy to do, it would be nice to be able to put the
menu bar and the icon bar side by side so as to have:

 File Edit ....   Help ///////////////////// ICON1 ICON2 ICON3
