Im sorry if i bother you again, but i wanted to add a fact:
I also have an emacs installation on a sun solaris station
which has no problem with the nfs file system. This indicates
that the problem rather is on the nfs client side OR the
nt - build of emacs (but then again, i may be wrong).
I may also add that the emacs 20.7 (i386 fullbin version) does
not have this particular problem.
