I've built libXaw3d (1.5), libjpeg (6b), libpng (1.0.11), libz (1.1.3)
and libXpm (4.7).  libtiff is the default SGI version and libungif
isn't installed.

I've certainly experienced crashed on the origin - just managed one
with a gcc build when looking up XGrabPointer (which is in libX11).
