The following problem doesn't really affect me, I'm just posting it
in case you need it for the Luxury Edition.
In the effort to protect the user from losing any of his work, some
optional warning upon quitting emacs, or even keeping a #backup# might
be offered, for someone who has made a lot of intricate marks in a
dired buffer. By the way, what about folks who want to save their
dired marks between sessions? Has this been addressed yet?
