I have a system crash that occured every time I try to modify my
/etc/profile with my NT editor while my Xserver (cygwin/XFree) is
running.
I'm using Cygwin/XFree/Xfce but I'm not lauching emacs from cygwin (but
from my NT desktop).

- the crash occured systematically when I saving /etc/profile and XFree
is
running. It didn't occure with other files or if XFree is not running.
- I'm using emacs in Unix mode (no CR/LF) pb.

Following a memory dump analyze and a description of my system.
I post the same bug to the cygwin/xfree list.

Eric.

caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
