In GNU Emacs 21.2.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2002-05-04 on jailhouse

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
I have
(setq special-display-regexps
'("Help" "ChangeLog*" "\\*compilation\\*" "*grep\\*" ))
If I then run gnus, with the point in a summary buffer, type C-h l
(view-lossage) and then close the created frame - I click on the 'X' in the
window decoration - and then type 'B' in the summary buffer I get a message
about the buffer being read-only, I type 'B' again and it works fine
This is with Emacs 21.2 under linux (and windowmaker), just tried it on a
w98 version and it works fine
