    Hi! My name is Ciprian.
    I have started using Emacs recently and I encoutered a problem...
    First I should describe you my situation:
    - I am using GNU Emacs 21.2.1;
    - it is under CygWin (what version i can not say for sure, but i
downloaded it a few days ago so it-s the newest one possible);
    - it is runned under Windows 2000 Profesional version 5.00.2195 with
Service Pack 2 installed.

    My problem is the folowing:
    - C-@ or C-SPC or C-c do not seem to work...
    - When i press C-SPC it looks like it does SPC (i tried it with help and
then the k option which describes a key)
    - And when i press C-C it is actualy C-g...
    I don't complain about the fact that C-SPC is not bound with
set-mark-command (I have checked and they are bound) but for the fact that
when i press this key it looks like I have pressed something else...
    I must make another observation... I have intalled Emacs for Windows
directly outside Cigwin and this is working just fine...

    I looked for information in the file etc/PROBLEMS for this one but i
did'nt found anything.
    Could you help me?

    Thank you in advance!
    Ciprian.
