Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

This is actually a bug trying to bootstrap this mornings cvs sources on mac os
x 10.2.4.  I followed the instructions on
http://members.shaw.ca/akochoi-emacs/.  The "make bootsbuild build rap" seems
to get into an infinite loop writing "generating autoload for
add-log.el...done" over and over again.
