Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

Start emacs
Split window vertical. C-x-3
With the mouse drag-resize the right most window's horizontal size to as less as possible, making the left most window as large as possible.
The emacs then core dumps.
