Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:



Hi.  Loading the text file in the attached gzip file deterministically
causes my emacs to hang.  Even (keyboard-quit) won't interrupt it. A
quick look with gdb suggests it's the regexp code that's at fault.
I've trimmed the file down to something close to the minimal
fault-revealing sequence.
