ffap thinks mail address is news message-id

I put the cursor on the address in
From: =?big5?q?liu=20lion?= <lion777445@yahoo.com.tw>
and ffap attempts to retrieve a news article instead of sending a
mail.  This is because I was in the buffer *Article nnml:mail.misc*
which probably is seen to be in news mode or something... perhaps this
is too close a call...
