While running emacs-21.3 I get the following error:
Wrong type argument: stringp, nil

 

I ran the following :

emacs -q -batch -f list-load-path-shadows 

 

and removed any conflicting .elc files.

but I am still getting the same error.

 

I built and ran emacs on Linux,

uname -a
Linux linux46 2.4.9-e.25smp #1 SMP Fri Jun 6 18:11:40 EDT 2003 i686 unknown
