Memory-exhausted crash when yanking from xclip

From: Felix Wiemann
Subject: Memory-exhausted crash when yanking from xclip
Date: Wed, 27 Oct 2004 14:19:07 +0200
User-agent: Gnus/5.1006 (Gnus v5.10.6) Emacs/21.3 (gnu/linux)

$ xclip memory-exhausted.txt  # attached
$ emacs

Now press C-y to yank the text.

Emacs hangs. Press C-g and Emacs complains about exhausted memory (and
that the user should type `M-x save-some-buffers'). Do a few keystrokes and
Emacs starts continuously beeping. Only SIGKILL helps.

Attachment: memory-exhausted.txt
Description: Binary data

Note: It only happens when using xclip.

Can anyone reproduce this?
