GTK error in latest CVS build

I am running Emacs GNU Emacs 22.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+
Version 2.4.3).  I really like the feature that allows menus to be
detached and floated in a separate frame (i.e., when I click on the
Help menu, for example, and then click the dashed line, the help menu
starts floating in a new frame).  However, these frames often crash
with the following error:

(emacs:394): Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 3702
(gtk_widget_reparent): assertion `GTK_IS_CONTAINER (new_parent)'
failed

>From what I can tell, this only happens when I enter a command that
puts focus on the mini-buffer (e.g., C-x C-f).  The frame menu that
crashes every time is hs-minor-mode; however, I've seen others crash
too.
