Houston - As the deadliest and most damaging of U.S. weather hazards, floods
have long been the
focus of dreadful fascination by the public. And rightfully so, few things are
worse then watching
your home quickly fill with water or watching your car float down the street.
Worse yet, everyone
lives in a flood zone - it's just a question of whether you live in a low,
moderate or high risk
area. Flood zones are land areas identified by the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA).
Each flood zone describes that land area in terms of its risk of flooding.

Flooding actually occurs from a range of causes and conditions — not always the
ones that first come
to mind. Of course, river flooding is the kind we think of most commonly. Heavy
rains or rapid snowmelt
on upstream watersheds cause rivers to rise — more so at chokepoints or where
tributaries converge.
Coastal flooding is also very common. In many places, coastal land is very
close to sea level, and
therefore vulnerable, while inland flooding has been the cause of more than
half the deaths arising
from hurricanes in the last three decades. But probably the most common and
certainly one of the most
dangerous is a flash flood, they can have a variety of causes — although large
sudden downpours are
the main ones, dams and levies are also culprits.

Man has long tried, not always successfully, to control and prevent the
damaging effects of flooding.
He has built levies, dredged and redirected rivers and built coastal barriers.
But Mother Nature still
seems to keep winning the battle. One company that is rising above the flood
plain battle is FloodSmart
Inc., (FDSI), with principal offices in Houston, Texas, the company engages in
flood remediation by
elevating structures to a point above the flood plain. FDSI does this by
patented a system that uses
dynamic concrete hydraulic cylinders to elevate structures above the flood
plain elevation so that
they can be restored or rebuilt and are no longer subject to flooding

Getting a Lift : FloodSmart, Inc (FDSI) A pioneer in the field of flood
remediation solutions utilizing
proprietary techniques and new technologies. The company, which owns a patented
a system, invented by
the company's President, to elevate structures above the flood plain elevation;
 homes and buildings
can then be restored and are no longer subject to flooding or the adverse
consequences of condemnation.
By combining these technologies in a single patented process, FDSI has earned
our highest rating of
10 out of 10.

Market Timing: More than 4.5 million people in more than 20,000 communities
across the U.S. are
currently at risk in flood zones. Because more and more buildings, roads and
parking lots are being
built where forests and meadows used to be, which decreases the land's natural
ability to absorb water.
Changing weather patterns coupled with the above mebtioned construction has
made recent floods more
severe and increased everyone's chance of being flooded. In a high risk area,
your home is 3 times
more likely of being damaged by a flood during the course of 30 years, then the
chance of fire damage.

“Timing Excellent”!

Stock Forecast: FDSI is trading extremely low, apparently under the radar
screen of most Wall Street
investors and analysts. We believe this offers the astute investor a fantastic
risk reward scenario in
an under-bought market.

We are therefore recommending FDSI up to the $7.50 target price range. -
