$ locate ccmode
/usr/share/info/emacs-21/ccmode-1.gz
/usr/share/info/emacs-21/ccmode-2.gz
/usr/share/info/emacs-21/ccmode-3.gz

/usr/share/info/emacs-21/ccmode.gz

"$ info ccmode" does not work, but "$ info 'CC Mode' " does.
