Thanks for this patch.

I've had it in my emacs and in the Aquamacs CVS whose nightly builds a  
couple of people use for a month, and I haven't seen any issues with  
respect to view-quit. I just noticed that you posted a new patch a few  
days later, but we haven't tried that.
(Some hunks of the original patch don't apply any longer.)

Is this going to make its way into 22.2?
