search-forward-regexp fails to search uppercase classes of characters in regexp.

How to reproduce:

1) emacs -q --no-site-file --no-splash
2) type the following in *scratch* buffer
     (search-forward-regexp "[A-Z]") abCd
3) evaluate the first expression.

Expected: cursor after B
Results: cursor after a

I believe this is working as intended: see the node Searching and Case
in the Emacs Lisp manual.
