bug#117: is fixed

I checked bug #117 with a build of 2008-12-31. It seems to be fixed now - thanks
for fixing it, Jason. Apparently, the multiple and incorrect frame parameters
were generally behind the problems I described.

The two problems mentioned below remain (in addition to #119, which is handled
separately now).

In the case of the first, frames not being refreshed, I think that might be
related to the number of frames open. I filed a separate bug for this: #1748.

For the second, I will try to investigate further when I get some time. If I can
come up with a simple recipe, I'll file a separate bug for it.

Thx - Drew
