emacs crashes every time I do the following:

go to Options->Show/Hide->speedbar
in the speedbar frame: click modeline->Speedbar->Quit

In GNU Emacs 23.0.90.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
 of 2009-02-01 on SOFT-MJASON
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
configured using `configure --with-gcc (3.4)'

I installed a more comprehensive patch that does more than just avoid the crash, since I don't think we want to keep displaying an hourglass in these circumstances.
